Paul discovered his passion for nature when he was five years old working in the garden with his family and started his first landscaping business when he was twelve. When he realized that he had no clue what he was doing, he sold the business to earn an A.S. Degree in Ornamental Horticulture and B.S Degree in Environmental Planning and Design from Cook College, Rutgers University. After teaching for a few years right out of college he earned an M.A. in Environmental Studies from The New Jersey School of Conservation at Montclair State University with a concentration in Environmental Education.
Designing and building landscapes is his day job but teaching others about nature and how to garden is a passion because he knows it leads to a healthy lifestyle. Paul has been an adjunct faculty in the Ornamental Horticulture Program at Bergen Community College for 31 years.
Ben's exposure to nature started at a young age. As a golf addict at the age of five, he loved being outside. After working as a caddie on a golf course, Ben realized that he needed a career that allowed him the ability to work with nature. Ben earned a B.S Degree in Environmental Planning and Design from Cook College, Rutgers University.
Ben is a licensed landscape architect in New Jersey and New York and has spent much of his career working as a designer and a project manager. He has worked on projects as part of a design team, as an owner, and as an owner’s representative which helps him view projects from all angles. Ben also served as a chairman of the planning board in West Orange Township which helps add to his unique background and experience.
